Sorry about not posting for awhile! I've been really busy lately with test :( and living my life! (:
Math:
Today we had a test that took us the whole period.
Science:
We took notes on different things and then went to stations.
Drama:
We played improv games.
Civics:
We did our Do Now, looked over notes, and then went to lunch. After lunch, we took pictures because it was picture day! Those pictures would end up in the yearbook. I hope mine turns out good! (; Then when we came back we worked on a paper.
Broadcasting:
We worked on a morning wake up call video that my friend and I do. It is where we talk about a certain day in history. Then we put it on the morning show!
English:
We took a vocab test and I got an A of course! (:

Math:
Did our warm up which was to complete a page from our workbook. Then we took notes.
Science:
We wrote down our homework and fast fact which we write down everyday and then we went to see a presentation for a fundraiser for our school. Then when we got back we finished doing science labs that we are grouped in.
Drama:
We played improve games.
Civics:
We took a practice diagnostic reading test before lunch and when we came back from lunch we finished it and then finished doing a paper that we were working on.
Broadcasting:
I edited the 8th Grade Video my friend and I are working on while she went to help another group on their video. Mostly, I am the editor and the shooter! (:
Language Arts:
We went to another language arts classroom and talked about King Arthur and worked on papers.

Woke up feeling a little tired because I woke up a little earlier because I wanted to go to school early and work on the 8th grade video that my friend and I are working on.
Math:
We took our math test and I got an A!
Science:
Took our science test and I think I got a high B. The test went good!
Drama:
We played theatre games.
Civics:
We completed our "Do Now," which was to write about a person called John Locke. Then we worked in a book called "We the People."
Broadcasting:
My friend and I are working on another video now. It's for ID's since we got them this week. We filmed yesterday and today. Also, we edited it today.
Language Arts:
We reviewed our homework, took notes, and worked on a paper.

Woke up and I was too tired to get out of bed!
Math:
Finished our math warm up and then worked through the textbook.
Science:
We went to these stations with a group we were assigned with. Everyday we change stations and do different experiments in each station. Today, we weighed different objects on a balance and found out other things about the objects.
Drama:
We first warmed up our voices by singing some singing warm ups. Then we auditioned for the orphans in "Annie."
Civics:
We did our, "Do Now" which was to look at a behavior sheet for tomorrow and explain what we thought was the most important part of it and explain. After, we went to lunch. My lunch was delicious and I ate with my drama teacher since I got permission. When we got back from lunch we worked on a sheet about government.
Adv. Broadcasting:
My friend and I are working on an end of the year 8th grade video for all of the 8th graders. We need to start early in the year so we can have enough time to work on it over the year. We will include many events that take place during the school year and special days such as spirit week and opposite day! Math:
Our teacher surprised us today by telling us we had our assesment test! The assesment test is to see if we should stay in the same math class or move up to honors algebra! Hopefully I will move up because I tried my best and as hard as I could! It is the test we will be taking at the end of the year, but seemed pretty easy! (:
Science:
We took notes on safety in science. This year we will be hatching chics, disecting animals, doing numerous labs, etc. It seems like it's going to be a good year!
Drama:
We practiced our monologues and sang notes with my teacher. Auditions for the play are on Monday.
Civics:
We shared what we thought of the six morals from yesterday. Also, we went over the syllabus. Lunch was delicious!
Broadcasting:
We decided which people would do different types of shows every week. My friend and I are doing, "Morning News." What we will do is every Tuesday and Thursday we will go to school early and tell a few people that are hanging around a fact of the day or a quote, and they will talk about it. Then we go back to the room and edit it. Then when the morning show is on it will be played! (:

We each talked about what our name meant and what the denotation and connotation of our name was. Then we discussed a project we will be doing. We have to make a "Code of Arms." It is in the shape of a shield and we have everything about us on it. On each side there is the setting of our life, mood of our life, plot of our life, and character of our life. We will start it on Monday and we will have that whole week to work on it!

Woke up feeling tired. I'm not use to waking up early yet!
Math:
We saw a different and shorter slideshow today and then tried out our new CPS clickers. Also, we looked at our math textbook. This week we have a test to see if we should stay in the same class before the school year starts!
Science:
We started a table of contents in our journals and labeled a few pages. Then, my teacher told us about the different things we would do in her class and how to do them. For example she told us how to get in lab groups and the different stations we would go to with our groups.
Drama:
We talked about the audition next week for, "Annie." Also, she told us that our principle had "Okayed" a trip to New York! What we are going to do is fly to New York and see a broadway show, go to Central Park, and our hotel is in Manhatten! I'm so excited! This is going to be a highlight of my life I think! :D!
Civics:
We went over "The Six Morals" she follows in her class. They were pretty interesting! Then had lunch! Came back and discussed more of the morals and explained them.

First Day of School....:(
Woke up feeling excited, nervouse, tired, and that feeling of having to go to school....but you get to see your friends, right! (:

Math:
I walked in the room after rejoicing with all f my friends in the courtyard. Then took a seat next to a girl I knew and we went over a slideshow concerning how to behave and guidelines for the school year. Also we recieved a workbook. My new teacher seems nice with a sense of humor.
Science:
As I entered the room, everyone was hitting the teacher's elbow with their elbows. It was kind of strange but I guess that's how she greets all of her students. Then she went over a few things and passed papers around like the syllabus and things like that. We also went over the same slideshow from 1st period.
Adv. Musical Theatre:
Went into the room, this is the class I had last year except this time it included musical theatre and you can get lead roles in this class! (: She told us that the show we would be doing is "Annie" and auditions are next week. We have to have prepared a monologue and a song! I know what monologue I'm going to do and now I just have to prepare a song.
Civics:
We went over the same slideshow we did in 1st and 2nd period...BORING! Then we discussed stuff about her class and recieved the syllabus. Then we went to lunch! I still need to bring a lunchbox...today I put my lunch inside my friend's lunchbox...(:
Adv. Broadcasting:
Same teacher as last year for my 4th period except this time I'm in his adv. 5th period class! (: We discussed more about his class and looked at one page of that boring slideshow I watched in periods 1,2, and 4...except this time we discussed how bland and poorly made the slideshow was made! (: We talked about how it need brighter and exotic colors, transitions, new text, bulleted points instead of long paragraphs, etc. (:

Today my language arts teacher had a baby boy at 12:00 so as you can guess, she wasn't there! We are going to have a substitute teach us for awhile but she was sayig we may have our teacher back by ext week! :) We went over the slideshow..:( Also we got a syllabus and some papers.

Summer 2010!
How is everyone's summer going? Mine? GREAT! For my traveling needs, I went on a road trip and also flew to Utah! In Utah I was greeted by incredible mountains! On the road trip, I was greeted each day to some place new and fresh to explore!
These normal summer days I just wake up at noon, have lunch, "chillax," and rehearse for a play I'm in. Yes, it's a good and did I mention super fast summer! The summer has just flown by! But it's been filled with loads of laziness and fun! Hanging out with school buds, sticking around home, and well...not studying and worrying about what will happen tomorrow!
Though school is starting as soon as it ended, it will be nice to get a new slot of teachers for the next year, see friends, and enjoy life at middle school!
Keep checking my blog starting August 17, because the "Dragon Queen" will be up and writing for the next school year!
Can't wait to tell you guys my new schedule and experience the thrills of 7th grade! (Which I will be entering!) See you guys soon and be sure to comment on new posts!

These normal summer days I just wake up at noon, have lunch, "chillax," and rehearse for a play I'm in. Yes, it's a good and did I mention super fast summer! The summer has just flown by! But it's been filled with loads of laziness and fun! Hanging out with school buds, sticking around home, and well...not studying and worrying about what will happen tomorrow!

Woke up screaming, "This is the last day of school!" So happy today!
World Cultures:
We signed yearbooks while in the background we were watching the "Dragons Den." They were playing videos that people have made and different people would come up to be hosts! It was very nice! (;
Science:
We finished watching the movie "Star Trek" which was pretty good!
Drama:
We watched "Grease" which is SUCH a GREAT movie! (: We also took pictures for memories! (:
Language Arts:
We skipped fourth period because that is when we have lunch and periods 1-5 are shortened so we skipped fourth period. We played a game called Mafia.
Math:
We ate cookies, took pictures, and wrote "End of the year messenges" to my math teacher because she wasn't there.
Digital Design:
We came to fourth period now and we watched, "Napoleon Dynamite."
Math:
Then we came back to sixth period and we watched "G-Force" and had popcorn and twizzlers with it. Also we got water. We took more pictures, watched the movie, and wrote on the board again as well.
Then the bell rang and I shouted, "WHAT TIME IS IT!? SUMMER TIME!!"
Everyone was running through the halls, it was a blast! (: (: (:
That was our last real deal for this year because it's SUMMER! See you when I start school on late August!

We worked on a paper and were divided into teams because next week we are going to have a "duel" almost against other worled cultures classes. But our class is divided into two.
Science:
We watched a space video which was very interesting. I like all of my classes because since there are only three more days of school left, we aren't doing much! Plus, it is fun! (:
Drama:
We played a few improv games, played piano, and got a chance for everyone to sign everybody's yearbooks! Good thing i bought one! (;
Digital Design:
We took our final exam and we had to come up with a list of ideas that would help improve the "Dragon's Den" which is our school morning show. After that, I worked on my end of the year video, "Memories."

We watched a movie called, "The Great Dictator." I really enjoy that movie! (:

We learned about space and different Apollo missions.
Drama:
We are in groups coming up with a skit about something that happened this year at school! My group is going to do our skit on a swimming party my swim team had. (swim team on my school)
Digital Design:
I took videos for our video, "Memories." We lost all of the video footage of people so we have to retake everything!
Language Arts:
We worked on our multi-genre projects, and turned them in at the end of class! Hope I get an "A" because it is my final exam!
Math:

We wrote about a certain topic on Africa. My topic was on nonrenuably resources in Africa. Then, the class each shared their own topic and we took notes on them.
Science (2nd):
We went over two worksheets which we have quizzes on tomorrow! :0
Drama (3rd);
We played theatre games and cleaned up sets from the play.
Digital Design (4th):
I took photos and added effects to them.
Language Arts (5th):
We worked on starting our visual/multimedia pieces for the multi-genre project.
Math (6th):

Busy week huh? Woke up with a runny and stuffy nose. I really did NOT want to go to school, but I did.
World Cultures (1st):
We took our quiz. I think I did well! (: Then we completed a packet and turned in these projects we made over the weekend. I got a 100% on that!
Science (2nd):
We took our test! I got a 77% ): But, for some reason that test was hard for EVERY one of her classes! For some reason every classes average was either in the high 60's or low 70's! So compared to all of her classes, I did well. Compared to my normal grades.....):
Drama (3rd):
We talked about how well the play went on Friday and played a variety of theatre games.
Digital Design (4th):
We finished the basketball tryout video we were working on and I played on Photoshop for a while.

We worked on the fiction piece for our multi-genre project. I'm working on a monolouge. Then, we had peer edits and our second draft is due tomorrow.

We did a worksheet and read from the textbook outloud. Also, we completed a few worksheets still focusing on those three religons, where they got started, their leaders, and key information on them.
Second Period:
We planted our limabeans in soil. Also, we took our test and I got an 86%! Which is really godd because it was a HARD test!
Third Period:
We brought in our costumes for the play so we rehearsed in the costumes! We look really cute but also really small! :0
Fourth Period:
We worked on our video....it's looking nice! :)
Fifth Period:
We worked on our "fiction piece" for the multi-genre project. I am going to do a monolouge which is coming along great! (:

First Period:
We completed a chart and then took notes. Then we read from our textbooks about three religons: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.
Second Period:
We completed multiple worksheets about vascular plants. Also, we are now growing these limabean seeds. What we did was we wrapped them in a moist towel. Then, tomorrow we will put them in soil.
Third Period:
We talked about the play and rehearsed.
Fourth Period:
We are working on a video for next year about basketball tryouts at my school. Since the basketball tryouts are in the very beginning of the year, we don't have time to make a video next year so we are making one now. So we worked on that video the whole time.
Fifth Period:
We looked over some cinquains and made our own cinquains. Also, my teacher told us that if we gave her a typed cinquain tomorrow, she would give us extra credit! So I am going to do it! (:
Sixth Period:
We worked on two-step equations.
That was our real deal, see you next time!

We did our study guide. Our test is tomorrow! :0
Second Period:
We took our test and I got a 93% since I'm awesome! (:
Third Period:
We practiced for the "Wizard of Oz" and painted the sets.
Fourth Period:
We are finished with our end of the year video, "Memories" so we started working on a softball tryout video.
Fifth Period:
We talked about what we needed to do for the rest of our multi-genre projects.
Sixth Period:

Woke up, got ready, decided to buy lunch at school. (:
First Period:
This was our "extra" day to work on anything that we needed to finish and tomorrow we have to turn in all of our projects but my partner and I have all of our projects turned in! (:
Second Period:
We learned about pollution and environments. Then, we studied for our test that is on Wedesday and did some work.
Third Period:
We painted the set and worked on scenes for "The Wizard of Oz."
Fourth Period:
We made some songs on garage band for our video "Memories." Now we are finished with it but we have to wait till the last day of school to put it on our morning show.
Fifth Period:
We worked on our newspaper articles which our drafts are due tomorrow.
Sixth Period:
We did this big worksheet. There was even suduko on one page and the teacher told us that it had taken her three and a half hours to complete it and I finished it within ten minutes! Then she wrote my name down so I might get something tomorrow!

Woke up tired again so I slept in for five minutes! Luckily, since I was so tired, my mom made my lunch! :)
First Period:
We had a substitute but it was still a normal day. We recieved the sixth and last mini project! :) We completed the worksheet and then decided we would make a model for the project part so I am suppose to bring in some cardboard and my partner will bring in some clay to work on it tomorrow!
Second Period:
My teacher graded our homework and I got a 100%! Then, we watched a video and she talked to us about this place in the Keys in Florida called Atosha! It's this very cool place where you can go diving and you can find treasure because it is the place where a pirate ship loaded with treasure was sunk! Also, there is still 90% of the treasure left and many people have become very rich from diving there! My mission now is to go there. :)
Third Period:
Today we all painted the set for the play! :)
Fourth Period:
We worked on our video. We are trying to add music to it but it is so difficult so we decided to make our music on garage band.
Fifth Period:
We worked on our outline for our newspaper article and researched.
Sixth Period:
We went over our homework and did a worksheet.

Woke up extremely tired! Had to sleep in for five more minutes and then decided to wake up.
First Period:
We worked on the project part of our fifth mini project.
Second Period:
We watched a video on alcohol and did some work and homework.
Third Period:
We practiced for the play and talked about the place where we are going to perform the play.
Fourth Period:
We worked on our video and uploaded and edited the videos from yesterday.
Fifth Period:
We had our first audit check for homework, learned how to make our newspaper articles, and started making the bases and ideas for our newspaper articles for our multi-genre project.
Sixth Period:
We did some worksheets and went over them. We got six 100% answers so that goes on the chart for my teachers, "Which Class can get the Most 100's on Answers so they can get an Ice Cream Party!"

Woke up very tired but got ready for my swim meet, which is after school, and school.
First Period:
We took a break from our projects and watched a holocaust speaker talk about what it was like in the holocaust. During the whole day at my school, that had six holocaust speakers come in (one in each period.) and talk about what it was like for them in the holocaust.
Second Period:
We went to our school book fair and I bought the book "Flush" to read over the summer. Then, we walked back to the classroom and watched the remaining parts of the holocaust speakers on our school TV.
Third Period:
We recieved our course cards which were these papers that you filled out so you could get an elective you wanted. My drama teacher explained more about them and then we played improve games and practiced for the play.
Fourth Period:
We worked on our video and took some videos to use in our video.
Fifth Period:
My class sat in a room to listen to a holocaust speaker while the rest of the school watched it on the TV's. :) But only some classes watched it, for instance I saw four speakers. Not six.
Sixth Period:
We took a tally for circle graphs and then made the circle graphs. It was fun and easy. :) While we worked on that we watched the holocaust speaker.
Then I went to my swim meet and in my relay we came in third! :)

Woke up a little awake for once! ;)
First Period:
We recieved the fifth mini project and completed the worksheet. Then, we decided that my partner and I would show our project on a shoebox. The topic is on hieroglyphics so we will have information all around the shoebox.
Second Period:
We turned in some work and also went over our homework. Then we watched a video on alchohol and no matter what age you are how it affects you and how it is a poison for your body even if you are old or young.
Third Period:
We rehearsed some of the movements for the play. Can't wait till the show! :)
Fourth Period:
We worked on our video by taking videos of classes and also tok a video of walking through the whole school. Tomorrow we will edit it and it will be fast fowarded! The end product will look really nice. ;)

I woke up tired but got up anyway. Had a good breakfast! :)
First Period:
We worked on the project part of our fourth mini project. My partner and I made a pyramid with information on it. Also, we wrapped up her little brothers action figures with toilet paper which was fun. :)
Second Period:
We went to another class to see these people from PBCC. They had a presentation on tobacco, smoking, and advertisements with drugs.
Third Period:
We did improve the whole time.
Fourth Period:
We had a person come in and talk to us about art. This lady was going to graduate from our local college and she was an art major studying art history. She talked about many of the exhibits they're school had and showed us a few in a slideshow. Also, she told us some information on the things she works with.
Fifth Period:
We researched on our topic for our project and tried to find four or more good sites on information on our topic. (That was our homework too). Then, we had to put information on each of those sights on a website so we could make a biblyaugraphy in MLA format. But this is what we have to do for our homework.

I woke up with my mom asking me if I wanted to go to school or not. I said yes. She asked me because today was "Take your child to work day," and a half day so there was pretty much no reason to go to school, but I still went.
Since today was a half day, our schedule was different. We had to go to third, second, and then first period.
Third Period:
There were only about eleven of us! This was my largest class! We played many improve games. It was very fun.
Second Period:
We worked on our homework for tomorrow. Then, at the end of class, went to lunch and we were able to sit where ever we wanted to!
Third Period:
We did a poster on recycling since it's Earth Day! It was all about saving the environment and you worked on it with a partner.

Woke up feeling very tired! Not a surprise for me! ;)
First Period:
We recieved the fourth mini project and completed the worksheet. Then we came up with an idea for the project part. We decided that we would make a mobile with a big pyramid at the top and mummies hanging down from it! Pretty creative if you ask me! :)
Second Period:
We watched a video on different types of animals in ecosystems. Also we worked on a paper that is homework.
Third Period:
We took a break from rehearsing the play and instead played a variety of improve games!
Fourth Period:
My friend who is working on the end of the year video with me, went around our school with me and took pictures! Then, we came back to the room, uploaded them, and added them to our video!
Fifth Period:
We researched on laptops the whole class! We were researching information on the topics we picked for our multi genre projects.
Sixth Period:
We went over homework and then worked on a study guide because we have a test on Friday. :( Also, while we were working on our study guide, our teacher told us what we got on our two assesment tests we did two days ago and yesterday. I got a 90 on the first test and an 83 on the second which was very good! :) The stuff on that test was all the things somebody in the grade above us should know! But, to be able to go into pre-algebra, you needed to get a 94 on the first and an 80 on the second. So if I had gotten 4% more on the first test, I would have gone into pre-algebra! But, I'm glad I didn't because I think that class would be too hard for me since it's meant for people in high school.

We worked on the project part of our third mini project. We have made some progress in our book and tonight we are going to work on more pages. Although my partner has not done much. :(
Second Period:
We learned about ecosystems and did a few worksheets. Also, we worked on a packet.
Third Period:
I skipped this class, drama, because I had to go to my sixth period because we had a swim meet. So, I went to my sixth period, math, this hour so I didn't miss an important class and go to an elective. So in math, we took another placement test and although it was shorter, it was harder. But, I think I did well!
Fourth Period:
We worked more on our end of the year video called "Memories."
Fifth Period:
We had our last book discussion! We really covered up most of the important events and had a nice discussion! :)
Sixth Period:
We went to the swim meet! :) I did well!

We recieved the third mini project today and started working on the worksheet. Once we finished it, we started thinking of ideas for our project and we decided to do a pop-up book and key information on ancient Egypt's leaders.
Second Period:
We wrote down twenty vocab words and then watched a few videos. After that, we worked on our homework, a worksheet.
Third Period:
We praticed for the play again. Tomorrow we have to come in early to practice.
Fourth Period:
We worked on our end of the year video. My lunch was.......alright. I had wonderful strawberries and pretzals with peanut butter but my sandwhich........a little to much mayonaise. But it was good! :)

Woke up feeling the most tired I have been this week! :( Went back to sleep for five more minutes and then decided to wake up!
First Period:
We worked on our project part of the second mini project we had. We worked on a poster. While we were working, all of a sudden, in the dead silence, a sudden noise rang, "ALEX'S PHONE! ALEX'S PHONE! ALEX'S PHONE!" Everyone looked in the direction of the noise and we saw that Alex's(a girl in our class.) phone had went off. It was reallly funny! :)
Second Period:
We took our test! I got an 88% which is a B. I thought I got a 100% but I guess I didn't do as well as I thought! :( Then we watched a video on people who did drugs and now they don't. :)
Third Period:
We played theatre games. I went up and did one, it was fun!
Fourth Period:
We had a substituter and we watched a boring movie. :(
Fifth Period:
We had our book discussion. I think it was our best because a lot of big events occured in this part.
Sixth Period:

Woke up feeling a little tired. Made my lunch and got ready for school.
First Period:
We recieved our second mini project and worked on it.
Second Period:
We watched a long video on genes and pregnancy.
Third Period:
Since I am on the swimming team, today we had a swim meet. So, I had to switch my elective and my sixth period because I was going to the swim meet when fifth period ended. Hence, me not goin to drama, and instead, goin to math which is my sixth period! :) Did you get the math?
Fourth Period:
I worked on photoshop and I learned some new tools.
Fifth Period:
We talked about our multi-genre project the whole time........HARD! Hopefully, I can get a good grade! :0
Sixth Period:
NOTHING! Except my swim meet! :)

We watched a long video on genes and pregnancy.
Third Period:
Since I am on the swimming team, today we had a swim meet. So, I had to switch my elective and my sixth period because I was going to the swim meet when fifth period ended. Hence, me not goin to drama, and instead, goin to math which is my sixth period! :) Did you get the math?
Fourth Period:
I worked on photoshop and I learned some new tools.
Fifth Period:
We talked about our multi-genre project the whole time........HARD! Hopefully, I can get a good grade! :0
Sixth Period:
NOTHING! Except my swim meet! :)

I woke up lazily and dressed and made my lunch.
First Period:
We mostly worked on the "project" part of the first mini project we had because we did the packet yesterday. We are making a powerpoint. Then we left early because it was picture day so we took pictures and then walked to second period from there.
Second Period:
We watched a "Doctor D" video on pregnancy. Also, we ad some pre-test quizzes.
Third Period:
She did some small auditioning for small parts and we worked on singing the rest of the time.
Fourth Period:
I worked on my powerpoint from my first period and did a little photoshop.
Fifth Period:
We had our book discussion and we really got to talk about the book well. :)
Sixth Period:
We did problems, took notes, and did some worksheets. Then we started on some of our homework.

My dad woke me up today and I made my lunch with a different lunch meat then usual and drove to school.
First Period:
My teacher told us about this difficult project we would be doing and soon, we started working on the project. We were suppose to have six different projects. We would get one project every two days. So we would have two days to work on one project. In each project, there is a packet of work you must complete and you have to choose a project you will do. You are allowed to work with a partner so my friend and I are working together! :)
Second Period:
We worked on some packets and did some work.
Third Period:
We worked on our scene for the play as usual.
Fourth Period:
I worked on photoshop the whole time and then had a pretty good lunch.
Fifth Period:
We worked on our role's for the book discussion which is tomorrow.

Woke up feeling a little awake, because today was FRIDAY!
My mom and me went to Publix, to buy my friend a birthday balloon for school! Once I gave it to her, she was really happy! :)
First Period:
We finished doing all these mini projects, took a small census test for my school, and took the quiz! I think I did really well on it! :)
Second Period:
We had our quiz and I think it was a little harder for everyone. Then we talked about sexting.
Third Period:
Today at my school, they were testing my grade level to see if our backs were straight, how much we weighed, and how tall we were. So they were calling people by their last names alphabetically throughout the day. In third period, they called my letter so I went to the girls locker rooms with my friends, and waited to take the "test." They first checked my spine, then weighed me, and then measured how tall I was.
Fourth Period:
We worked on photoshop most of the time and had lunch outside. :)
Fifth Period:
We had our book discussion, and it was again, very nice. Then we decided who would do what in the next book discussion and started reading.
Sixth Period:
We did a few problems and took more notes.

Woke up extremely tired! I was just yawning as I was getting ready! :0 But luckily since I have THE BEST mother in the world, she made my lunch! :) So thanks to mom, I was able to rest! :)
First Period:
We took notes, read, and did a few packets of work. There will be a quiz tomorrow in this class, so I'm studying like mad! :(
Second Period:
We watched a "Doctor D" video and went over the female reproductive system. ALso, we learned about being pregnant and stuff like that. We also have a quiz tomorrow so I'm studying even more! :( You could say that my night is being stolen from me.
Third Period:
We practiced on "The Wizard of Oz" again, and we had mini auditions for small parts. I might be one of these three girls who sing! :)
Fourth Period:
We worked on prezi, shot some videos, and worked on photoshop.
Fifth Period:
We took notes on adverbs and talked about a project we would soon have called "The Multigenre Project!" :0

I woke up so tired this morning! So I unhappily crept out of my wonderful bed and changed for school half asleep. Then, I packed a sandwich I had last night. :) I didn't have to make my lunch. :)
First Period:
We read the second section of the chapter in out textbooks. Then, since we had new seats and we were in groups, each group had a topic and you worked on it. Then, everyone switched topics, and you worked on it again.
Second Period:
We watched a slideshow on the male reproductive system the whole time.
Third Period:
We practiced for "The Wizard of Oz" and we sang the whole time.
Fourth Period:
I practiced photoshop and worked a little on prezi.
Fifth Period:
We had our book discussions today and it was a really nice discussion.
Sixth Period:
We took notes and did a few math problems in out textbooks. Also, we were released early, because in the middle of the day, there was a small brush fire across the street from our school and they had to be very careful.

This morning, I made sure I woke up..:)....and I made my lunch.
First Period:
We read and took notes on our own in the beginning of the class. (That was our "Do Now.") Then, we took more notes and did some worksheets.
Second Period:
Usually, we have a "Journal" that we have to write. (We actually write in journals!) ;) Todays journal was to write down all the ways you can have self esteem....? "How does that have to do with science?" Is that what your asking yourself? Well this week we are learning about reproductive systems, bullying, self esteem......blah blah blah. So we wrote in the journals and then we finished working on projects we had done yesterday
Third Period:
We practiced for "The Wizard of Oz" again. We are sounding great when we sing!
Fourth Period:
We worked on this website call "prezi" and we learned some new things on it. It was very interesting!
Fifth Period:
We formed into the groups we were in for our reading choice and worked on the sheets we had for the role we would have in the book discussion tomorrow.
Sixth Period:
We did some problems in our math book and then took notes.
Swimming:
I had practice today so first i swam 100 yards as a warmup and we did MANY different exercises! It was wonderful! Then we ran back to school to be picked up!

Back to School!
So apparently I never woke up when my mom woke me up, so I woke up extremely late. Therefore, my mom left to go to work and my dad had to drive me. At least I got to sleep in. :) I didn't have time to make my lunch so I decided to buy lunch.
First Period:
We took notes and learned about civilizations and how, when, and why they formed. Also, we learned about some of things we would be doing this quarter.
Second Period:
We had new seats so now I sit in the front. We wrote a little and now we are going to learn about the reproductive system for a while.
Third Period:
We rehearsed for "The Wizard of Oz" which is our second school play. I am a munchkin. :)
Fourth Period:
We worked on photoshop and learned about a website called prezi.com. It is a website that helps you present things.
Fifth Period:
We got into our reading groups and decided who was going to do what when we met up to have our next book discussion. I am going to be the "Discussion Director." :)
Sixth Period:
We learned how to square numbers. It was fairly easy.
I walked with my friend to the library and we chilled there until my mom picked me up.

SPRING BREAK HERE WE COME!
My mom woke me up reminding me that it was the last day of school before spring break, so that got me up! ;)
First Period:
We watched a movie called "The Wave" and it was about this class who were studying WW11 and Hitler. Then, one day in class, this girl asked a question that the teacher didn't know how to answer it was, "How would the people during that time not know what was happening and not stop it!" or something like that. So the teacher started acting almost like Hitler by commanding them to do different things without telling them and they got really into it. Too much into it. They didn't realize that he was basically brainwashing them. (which he really wasn't because he was just trying to see what would happen)
Second Period:
We watched a long video on sea creatures and it was pretty interesting.
Third Period:
We played many new theatre games and did some improve.
Fourth Period:
We finished watching "Old Dogs" and it was really funny. I suggest that if you lie cheesy and funny movies, you choose that one! ;)
Fifth Period:
Today at my school was St. Baldricks Day, which was where my school had people who volunteer to shave their head or for girls to donate 10 in. or more of hair to people with cancer. So they hosted a show by the people who normally do the morning show. So, we watched that video during sixth period. Also, we had our character directories checked and I got a 90% which was great because everyone else had worse grades! :)
Sixth Period:
We also watched the show for half that class and received some of our grade for tests which I had a 100% and 96%! After the show ended, we watched the movie "Home Alone" and I LOVE that movie! :)
Now I have SPRING BREAK! I'm so happy! See you when spring break is over!

Test Day!
Wednesdays are always either good or bad. Good if the week is going by fast and happy. :) But bad if the week is dragging on and it's sad. :'( If it is bad, I hope you are happy by the end of the week (; But my Wednesday is good! (:
First Period:
Took the test! I don't know how I did but I felt like I did well! :D
Also, for the first half of the class, we reviewed over our study guide for the test from yesterday.
Second Period:
I took the science test ! I got a 86%! After that we were allowed to play some games and read.
Third Period:
We played theatre games and did some short skits.
Fourth Period:
We watched the movie "Old Dogs" and it was pretty good!
Fifth Period:
We went over some books we can choose to read and I choose: "Summer of a German Soldier" and "The Book Thief." We also watched this movie from WW11.
Sixth Period:
We took the test and I got a 100%! I guess all of my studying paid off! (:

So I woke up, made lunch, went to the library early at my school with my friends and waited till the bell rang to go to first period.
First Period:
We did the study guide for the test tomorrow which I have been studying for all night! :'( I hope I get a good grade! A! Wish me luck!
Second Period:
We went on computers to finish some worksheets and also did a small worksheet, because guess what? We also have a test tomorrow that has me studying forever tonight! :'( I better do well!
Third Period:
My friends and I went up to this hearing and eyesight thing they are having at my school and I think/hope I did well :D It was fun while we were waiting in line though ;) Then we walked back to drama and watched people perform monolouges.
Fourth Period:
We had a substitute, so we watched a movie! It was about this girl who never could get her father's attention who was a person who fixed up people for funerals! :0 Then we had lunch and it was yummy!
Fifth Period:
We finished our character directories form yesterday and had to come up with a theme for the story!
Sixth Period:
We did a worksheet and learned stuff for tomorrow. What did we learn for tomorrow? How to find areas of different shapes for.... a test tomorrow!

Monday: March 22, 2010
How was everyone's Monday? Good I hope! Mine was! I woke up alive and excited,(except for that grumbling feeling of "Oh no, it's monday :'( ) because today was our first swim meet for my school swimming team and I was in the first relay! So I woke up and then made my lunch :( But not even that could ruin my morning :) Then we move on to getting to school......
Courtyard/Library:
This morning, it was raining so everyone in our grade had to go to the library to stay there so we wouldn't get wet. Also, I was dressed in dressy clothes for swimming! Of course my awesome friends commented on how "pretty" I looked :) Then, we just talked and chilled till the bell rang.
First Period:
We had a substitute so all we did was complete three worksheets on WW2 and then we could read,draw,etc. It was alright because it took us most of the period to finish.
Second Period:
We just watched an interesting video the whole time from Planet Earth. It was a little interesting because it should how animals catch their prey and also how some animals grow. Then, we checked over our worksheets and I got a 100%! The bell rings for third period and excitement rushed throughout my body!
Third Period:
I meet one of my BFFLS (Best friends for life) in the hallway and we walk together to drama. Once we get there my friends and I talk about stuff and laugh like we always do. Then, we finish watching pantomime skits that we had thought of and put together. They were a little interesting and as soon as you saw the first skit. we were already heading for fourth period!
Fourth Period:
Today, I worked on photoshop (as usual) and tried using some new tools. To read more about this class, please check out my other post: "Fourth Period." We saw some clips of a video to help kids conquer cancer that will be played in our school later this week. We went to lunch, and I ate the best green grapes I ever had!
Fifth Period:
We finished reading our book, Johnny Tremain and started working on these character sheets that went with the story. This teacher that I have for language arts is also my coach for swimming! So while I was there I also received the team bathing suit! It is like a red tie-dye design!
Sixth Period:
We had the same substitute again from Friday and were able to finish our test. Of course my friends and me didn't have to. ;) We did a worksheet after that and my friend and me left the class early for the meet!

Immediately we changed into our swimsuits and got into cars and drove, drove, drove! Once we there we took a team picture and then started practicing! Then, since I was in the first group, I waited till the person before me came and I quickly jumped into the warm water! Excitement was pouring everywhere and I was drilling through the water! It felt like I was gliding over it! Before I knew it I was back and I wasn't even tired! I felt so happy and thrilled!

I got a 100%!! :)Friday: March 19, 2010
THE BEGINNING:
Woke up like I always do: groaning out of bed, putting on clothes, walking to the kitchen sluggishly, making my lunch, (which takes a lot of my energy away when I have none to start with!) and getting in my car to drive to my school. COURTYARD:
Everyday before school, everyone waits in the courtyard before we enter "the school". Last night I had to study for a quiz in science, but one problem. We didn't have the sheet to study it on! I walk in the courtyard and say to my friends,
"I can't believe our science teacher didn't give the sheet back to us! I mean, how are we suppose to study it!"
Friends: "I know right!"
:) I am right.
FIRST PERIOD:
So, we walk into first period once the bell rings. Bob Marley singing happy birthday was the bell, because it was our principle's birthday. So there is this guy just rocking out to the music as we are walking......."oh yeaaaaaa, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Anyway, so we walk into first period, World Cultures, and we have to do this reading sheet. I finish it and we take notes and all that other stuff you learn. (FYI: WW1, WW2, Geography, Ancient Greece and Rome, Etc.) We also get our grades from a quiz a few days ago....
Teacher: " Now class, make sure you don't worry about anybody else's grade. I want you ONLY to be concerned with YOUR grade."
After she passed them all out all you can hear is:
"What did you get? I got this. YES!!"

SECOND PERIOD:
Science. Quiz. Study :/.
Me: "Um we didn't have the sheet to study because you collected it from us...?!"
Teacher: "Well I'm going to give it to you now.'
So I study like it's for my life and what do I get? 30? 60? 48? 79?...................... 100%!!!!!!!!! It's because I'm just A-MA-ZING! :)
THIRD PERIOD:
Oh yea. This class is good. We do all sorts of acting games ranging from doing pantomime skits with groups or partners, to facial expression practice. Plus, that is the class where I have ALL of my friends! I love it! So much fun! Everyday. :)): ......get it.....the drama sign........nevermind.
FOURTH PERIOD:
This class is the technology, make-videos-for-the-morning show kinda class. It's fun too! We also learn how to use Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. So today I'm working on a guy I got from google images and his name is Larry! I don't actually know him, but I try to "fix" his face on photoshop. Then we go to lunch and I eat that 'half-tired sandwhich' I made in the morning.
FIFTH PERIOD:
This is Language Arts. I LOVE this teacher. She is my favorite, because she so ALIVE and nice. :) We read our book "Johnny Tremain" and hand in these stories we wrote. Also, I sit next to my friend so it's all good. :)
SIXTH PERIOD:
This is Math. Now, I know that at the end of the day the last thing you want to do is solve equations and what-not but unfortunately, I don't set up my schedule! Anyway, we have a test and a substitute and he gives this long lecture about tree diagrams (EASY!) and then passes out the test. He says that we will probably have to complete the rest of the test on Monday but since my friends and me are smart and can do math smartly, easily, and accurately. We all go up to hand in our tests at the same time! It was pretty awesome because we didn't know we all had finished!
A Walk To The Library:
There is this library close to our school, so they made a tunnel for students to walk to the library afterschool! So I walk there afterschool everyday (besides Tuesdays and Thursdays because I'm on my school's swim team and I practice those days.) with my friends! So I walk there and my mom later picks me up from there. Then, I try and do as much as I can (such as going to the mall like I did today) throughout the rest of my small day!
