Sorry about not posting for awhile! I've been really busy lately with test :( and living my life! (:
Math:
Today we had a test that took us the whole period.
Science:
We took notes on different things and then went to stations.
Drama:
We played improv games.
Civics:
We did our Do Now, looked over notes, and then went to lunch. After lunch, we took pictures because it was picture day! Those pictures would end up in the yearbook. I hope mine turns out good! (; Then when we came back we worked on a paper.
Broadcasting:
We worked on a morning wake up call video that my friend and I do. It is where we talk about a certain day in history. Then we put it on the morning show!
English:
We took a vocab test and I got an A of course! (:

Math:
Did our warm up which was to complete a page from our workbook. Then we took notes.
Science:
We wrote down our homework and fast fact which we write down everyday and then we went to see a presentation for a fundraiser for our school. Then when we got back we finished doing science labs that we are grouped in.
Drama:
We played improve games.
Civics:
We took a practice diagnostic reading test before lunch and when we came back from lunch we finished it and then finished doing a paper that we were working on.
Broadcasting:
I edited the 8th Grade Video my friend and I are working on while she went to help another group on their video. Mostly, I am the editor and the shooter! (:
Language Arts:
We went to another language arts classroom and talked about King Arthur and worked on papers.
That was our real deal. See you next time!

Woke up feeling a little tired because I woke up a little earlier because I wanted to go to school early and work on the 8th grade video that my friend and I are working on.
Math:
We took our math test and I got an A!
Science:
Took our science test and I think I got a high B. The test went good!
Drama:
We played theatre games.
Civics:
We completed our "Do Now," which was to write about a person called John Locke. Then we worked in a book called "We the People."
Broadcasting:
My friend and I are working on another video now. It's for ID's since we got them this week. We filmed yesterday and today. Also, we edited it today.
Language Arts:
We reviewed our homework, took notes, and worked on a paper.

Woke up and I was too tired to get out of bed!
Math:
Finished our math warm up and then worked through the textbook.
Science:
We went to these stations with a group we were assigned with. Everyday we change stations and do different experiments in each station. Today, we weighed different objects on a balance and found out other things about the objects.
Drama:
We first warmed up our voices by singing some singing warm ups. Then we auditioned for the orphans in "Annie."
Civics:
We did our, "Do Now" which was to look at a behavior sheet for tomorrow and explain what we thought was the most important part of it and explain. After, we went to lunch. My lunch was delicious and I ate with my drama teacher since I got permission. When we got back from lunch we worked on a sheet about government.
Adv. Broadcasting:
My friend and I are working on an end of the year 8th grade video for all of the 8th graders. We need to start early in the year so we can have enough time to work on it over the year. We will include many events that take place during the school year and special days such as spirit week and opposite day! Today my friend and I took pictures in classrooms and took videos of students.

Math:
Our teacher surprised us today by telling us we had our assesment test! The assesment test is to see if we should stay in the same math class or move up to honors algebra! Hopefully I will move up because I tried my best and as hard as I could! It is the test we will be taking at the end of the year, but seemed pretty easy! (:
Science:
We took notes on safety in science. This year we will be hatching chics, disecting animals, doing numerous labs, etc. It seems like it's going to be a good year!
Drama:
We practiced our monologues and sang notes with my teacher. Auditions for the play are on Monday.
Civics:
We shared what we thought of the six morals from yesterday. Also, we went over the syllabus. Lunch was delicious!
Broadcasting:
We decided which people would do different types of shows every week. My friend and I are doing, "Morning News." What we will do is every Tuesday and Thursday we will go to school early and tell a few people that are hanging around a fact of the day or a quote, and they will talk about it. Then we go back to the room and edit it. Then when the morning show is on it will be played! (:

We each talked about what our name meant and what the denotation and connotation of our name was. Then we discussed a project we will be doing. We have to make a "Code of Arms." It is in the shape of a shield and we have everything about us on it. On each side there is the setting of our life, mood of our life, plot of our life, and character of our life. We will start it on Monday and we will have that whole week to work on it!

Woke up feeling tired. I'm not use to waking up early yet!
Math:
We saw a different and shorter slideshow today and then tried out our new CPS clickers. Also, we looked at our math textbook. This week we have a test to see if we should stay in the same class before the school year starts!
Science:
We started a table of contents in our journals and labeled a few pages. Then, my teacher told us about the different things we would do in her class and how to do them. For example she told us how to get in lab groups and the different stations we would go to with our groups.
Drama:
We talked about the audition next week for, "Annie." Also, she told us that our principle had "Okayed" a trip to New York! What we are going to do is fly to New York and see a broadway show, go to Central Park, and our hotel is in Manhatten! I'm so excited! This is going to be a highlight of my life I think! :D!

We went over "The Six Morals" she follows in her class. They were pretty interesting! Then had lunch! Came back and discussed more of the morals and explained them.
Broadcasting:

First Day of School....:(
Woke up feeling excited, nervouse, tired, and that feeling of having to go to school....but you get to see your friends, right! (:

Math:
I walked in the room after rejoicing with all f my friends in the courtyard. Then took a seat next to a girl I knew and we went over a slideshow concerning how to behave and guidelines for the school year. Also we recieved a workbook. My new teacher seems nice with a sense of humor.
Science:
As I entered the room, everyone was hitting the teacher's elbow with their elbows. It was kind of strange but I guess that's how she greets all of her students. Then she went over a few things and passed papers around like the syllabus and things like that. We also went over the same slideshow from 1st period.
Adv. Musical Theatre:
Went into the room, this is the class I had last year except this time it included musical theatre and you can get lead roles in this class! (: She told us that the show we would be doing is "Annie" and auditions are next week. We have to have prepared a monologue and a song! I know what monologue I'm going to do and now I just have to prepare a song.
Civics:
We went over the same slideshow we did in 1st and 2nd period...BORING! Then we discussed stuff about her class and recieved the syllabus. Then we went to lunch! I still need to bring a lunchbox...today I put my lunch inside my friend's lunchbox...(:
Adv. Broadcasting:
Same teacher as last year for my 4th period except this time I'm in his adv. 5th period class! (: We discussed more about his class and looked at one page of that boring slideshow I watched in periods 1,2, and 4...except this time we discussed how bland and poorly made the slideshow was made! (: We talked about how it need brighter and exotic colors, transitions, new text, bulleted points instead of long paragraphs, etc. (:

Today my language arts teacher had a baby boy at 12:00 so as you can guess, she wasn't there! We are going to have a substitute teach us for awhile but she was sayig we may have our teacher back by ext week! :) We went over the slideshow..:( Also we got a syllabus and some papers.
